COSMIC SMOKE-N-BBQ LLC was opened in 2014 by owner Jeffrey Good, the self-proclaimed “Master of Pits”. The business solely operated out of a tent until 2017, when a cooking trailer was purchased to serve clients better. These upgrades opened up a lot more venue possibilities, which have made us able to travel to a wide variety of events and locations. We cater weddings, corporate events, festivals, and family parties. For every event, we curate a menu that fits each client’s wants and needs. We have been serving the best BBQ in Bridgwater, Va, since 2014, and can’t wait to cater your next event!
At COSMIC SMOKE-N-BBQ LLC, we’re on a mission to bring out-of-this-world flavors to the Shenandoah Valley. Rooted in tradition but driven by innovation, we craft slow-smoked, high-quality barbecue with bold flavors and a cosmic twist. Our commitment is to serve our community with mouthwatering meals, warm hospitality, and a laid-back atmosphere where everyone feels like family. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, we aim to take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey—one bite at a time.
To expand COSMIC SMOKE-N-BBQ LLC to provide excellent food at a resonable price for all in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond!

I grew up in Bridgewater and graduated from Turner Ashby High School. I received an AAS Degree in Computer Electronics, and a Certificate in Computer Networking from Blue Ridge Community College. I was a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. I started my cooking journey outside on a Sterno Stove that I used in Scouting as a child. I would cook for myself when I wanted something other than what mom was fixing. As a teenagers, my sister and I would take turns preparing meals during the week as a part of our household chores. Throughout the years, I helped with numerous Chicken BBQs, preparing over 800 halves of Chicken at a time to sell to various groups in the Bridgewater community. This led to my coworkers asking me to bring in samples of what I made. This led to them purchasing food. Since then, my passion for cooking has grown into a business.
I have a passion for cooking and smoking food and a desire to be my own boss, so naturally, catering seemed a good career to pursue. I was drawn to barbecuing because of the variety of cooking techniques and the array of rubs and sauces to make my product unique. After a lot of experimenting, I’ve come up with my signature flavors which has led me to receive numerous awards for my barbecue.
We are a family-based business that started in 2014. I am proud to serve the community an awesome and unique product at reasonable prices alongside my family. We hope these qualities will make our customers come back for seconds!
